What Is The Shovel Squad? The Shovel Squad is Big Ditch’s Tap Room Rewards Program! Drink, Eat, Earn & Redeem! The more you spend, the more you earn.
How Do I Sign Up? Sign up for free online, or ask your server or bartender the next time you’re at our tap room. Points are tracked via your linked credit card to your rewards account.
How Does It Work? Any time you spend money at our tap room, you’ll earn points that can be redeemed for discounts and/or prizes. Cash them in for discounts when you visit us, or save them for something special! Points can be earned on all items except private events and gift cards. Rewards can be spent on anything except private events and shipping orders.
How Can I Earn Bonus Points? New members receive 50 points just for signing up! That’s halfway to a free beer) You can also earn late night double points from 10pm-12am Fridays and Saturdays.
Any Other Perks? Yep! You’ll be the first to know about special offers like double point days/times. We’ll also send you a discount for a free beer (or equivalent value) as a reward on your birthday!
THE REWARDS
You’ll earn 1 point for every $1 you spend. Once you hit 100 points, you can redeem your points for discounts at our tap room. Cash your points in for a discount on your next visit OR save them up for unique prizes you can only win if you’re a Shovel Squad member! Prize levels are as follows:
100 Points through 999 Points - TAP ROOM DISCOUNTS
Redeemable for discounts at our tap room! Use for beer, food or merch!
100 points are the minimum points required to redeem discounts. The value of a point is $0.08.
Example: 100 points = $8 discount, 200 points = $16 discount, etc.
1,000 Points - CUSTOM SHOVEL SQUAD BEER GLASS + $80 GIFT CARD
2,000 Points - CUSTOM SHOVEL SQUAD BREWERS SHIRT + $160 GIFT CARD
4,000 Points - NAME A BEER!
You will have the ability to name a pilot batch of beer! (Names must be approved by Big Ditch management.) Invite your friends in to try the beer you’ve named once you’ve done so!

10,000 Points - PRIVATE BREWERY TOUR AND TASTING!
Invite up to 15 people to our brewery for a private tour and tasting!
This prize level also includes an $800 gift card, a custom Shovel Squad beer glass, and a custom Shovel Squad brewers shirt!
20,000 Points - BREWER FOR A DAY!
Spend a day with our brewers and brew a beer with us! We’ll also allow you to name the beer you’ve brewed, then invite up to 15 people to our tap room for a private release party for the beer you’ve brewed! (The party is our “Hoppy Hour” package which includes food and drink for two hours.)
This prize level also includes a $1600 gift card, a custom Shovel Squad beer glass, and a custom Shovel Squad brewers shirt!
