On Friday, 5/20, we’ll be releasing a limited run of Hayburner for Ukraine 16oz 4-packs at our taproom. 100% of proceeds received by Big Ditch from the sale of this special version of our flagship IPA will be donated to Ukrainian American Freedom Foundation Inc. The UAFF provides desperately needed humanitarian relief and medical aid to war-torn Ukraine. This is a very limited run of specialty cans that may not be released outside of the brewery for distribution. We encourage our customers to stop down to the brewery or order online to take part in this worthy cause. This is our classic Hayburner American IPA in a 16oz can.

Don’t forget, Mother’s Day is May 8th. We’ll be open for brunch 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. (Sorry, we don’t take reservations.) In addition to our regular menu (including BEERMOSAS) we’ll have some great specials we hope Mom will love!

Vanilla yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and crumbled granola topped with fresh mint.

CANNOLI STUFFED FRENCH TOAST
Egg battered brioche bread stacked and layered with cannoli cream and finished with powdered sugar and whipped cream.

A blend of chilled, freshly brewed coffee with Bailey’s Irish Cream, Rumchata and a hint of chocolate.

5/16/22 UPDATE: due to the recent tragedy in our community, this year obviously won’t be the same as in previous years.

We’ve decided to donate a portion of proceeds from this year’s anniversary party to the following organizations, who will be using the donations for the purpose of supporting the Jefferson Avenue community and surrounding areas on the East Side of Buffalo.

Feed Buffalo is a Black-led organization with a passion and practice of providing healthy food access to families in need. Feed Buffalo runs a food pantry on the East Side.

Candles In The SUN is a driving force in community advancement by creating safe and impactful experiences through education, mentorship and co-curricular activities for underprivileged youth and young adults. They will be setting up produce stands throughout the city this week.

Join us this Friday, April 1 (not an April Fools joke, folks) for the return of Space Donkey and the latest Beer That Tastes Like Beer – Kellerbier. Available at our taproom for draft/cans to-go and shipping (NYS ONLY) this Friday.

Space Donkey is our flagship IPA Hayburner brewed with a massive amount of Galaxy hops. This beer rivals Hayburner in drinkability but adds tropical aroma and flavors of fruit punch and cotton candy to the citrus character already present in the base beer. 6.4% ABV. $14.99/4-pack.

Beer That Tastes Like Beer – Kellerbier is an unfiltered German-style lager that contains a great balance between floral hops and bready malts with mild bitterness. The yeast in suspension provides this beer with body and texture, which makes this handcrafted lager exceptionally smooth and drinkable. 4.8% ABV. $12.99/4-pack.

We’re proud to release our Ukrainian Dark Lager tomorrow at our taproom. This beer was brewed specifically to raise money for Ukrainian American Freedom Foundation Inc.

Ukrainian Dark Lager will only be available at our taproom in Crowlers and on draft. There will be 50 crowlers available for pre-order via our website tonight starting at 10:00pm, and another 50 available for in person sales tomorrow. Crowlers are limited to 1 per person. We will also have this beer on tap tomorrow until we run out. (It won’t last long!) Pre-order here.
