Stock up for the long weekend with the return of two of our favorite IPAs – Stark White Dad Shoes and West Coast Burner!

STARK WHITE DAD SHOES: Perfect for drinking while mowing the lawn, grilling on the deck, watching golf, backing into parking spaces, or falling asleep on the couch, Stark White Dad Shoes is brewed with New Zealand Riwaka and Australian Galaxy hops. This IPA is best described as a passion fruit bomb. It’s super pungent and intensely fruity with very low bitterness. 6.2% ABV.

WEST COAST BURNER: It’s like this, and like that, and like this, and uh – West Coast Burner is just as bold and citrusy as our flagship American IPA with an extra kick of grapefruit, pine, and an even more bitter yet clean finish. Have one, then just chill, ‘til the next episode. 7.2% ABV.

Both beers will be available at our tap room beginning this Friday, May 24 on tap and in 4-packs (16oz cans). Limited distro starting next week. Online ordering for pickup or shipping (currently shipping to NY & PA only) will be available beginning Friday morning.

COMING THIS SUNDAY for the first time ever to Big Ditch –  Slushies!

Our slushie machine makes its debut this Sunday for Mother’s Day Brunch with our first frozen offering – Strawberry Frosé! This frozen drink is made with our own Strawberry Vision Sour Fruit Beer and Rosé. These will be available beginning this Sunday at our Mother’s Day Brunch and will be served all day and every day after that. Sunday Brunch runs from 10AM to 2PM, and as usual, no reservations are required.

BIG DITCH 9TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY – DRINK & EAT AROUND THE WORLD!

We’re turning nine! To celebrate this year’s anniversary, we’re bringing you a beer and food tasting experience from around the world! Drink beer and eat small plates inspired by 5 different countries, right here at Big Ditch! Get your tap room passport stamped as you try the different food and beers. Fill up your passport and be entered to win the grand prize – a custom YETI cooler!

We’ll be offering beers and food dishes inspired by 5 different countries. For each food station you visit, you earn a raffle ticket. For each new beer you try, you earn another raffle ticket. Try all five beers and all five small plates to earn a fully stamped passport that you can enter into the raffle to win the grand prize!

The beer and food is inspired by the following countries:

• Japan – Yuzu Rice Lager paired with Sushi Wontons

• Venezuela – Roasted Plantain Brown Ale paired with Venezuelan Pork and fried plantains

• India – Mango Pastry Sour Ale paired with Tandoori Chicken

• Jamaica – Tropical Stout paired with Jerk Chicken Skewers

• Germany – Dunkelweiss German Wheat Ale paired with Apple Strudel Squares (via Village Bake Shoppe)

This is a FREE event to attend! As usual, prizes will be raffled off every 30 minutes to other local establishments we’ve partnered with over the years. The grand prize will be raffled off at 745pm.

BDRC is back! Join us on the third Monday every month for a group run followed by beer and food at the taproom.

This is just for fun! All runners welcome, go at your own pace!
– Runs start/end at Big Ditch Brewing Company.
– Runs start at 6:00pm. No pre-registration. Just show up a few minutes early, sign in, and be ready to go at 6:00.
– Melina from Next Level Running will lead the group runs.
– There will be a 3 mile and 4 mile route planned each week.
– Route maps will be provided.
– We’ll have water ready for you when you get back so you can hydrate before moving on to celebratory beers.
– The run is free to attend and open to all types of runners.
– Beer and food specials for runners each week after the run.

We are very excited to welcome guests from around the world to Buffalo for the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8!  Our tap room is open 7 days a week with lots of craft beer and elevated pub food options for you to enjoy!  Here is some helpful information regarding our tap room for the days leading up to the event.

The Tap Room: We have a large tap room with 3 bars and plenty of seating. We’ll have all of our spaces open and will be fully staffed for the entire weekend leading up and after the Eclipse. Weather permitting, we’ll also have our large garage doors up and the patio open!

The Hours: Our tap room will be open regular hours the weekend before and the day of the Eclipse. SAT: Noon-Midnight. SUN: 10AM-8PM. MON: 11AM-10PM.

The Beer:  We always have around 12-15 beers on tap and several of those available to-go in cans! YES, we will have our “WNY Eclipse” Black IPA available that weekend. (while supply lasts)

The Food: We’ll be running our regular menu PLUS some Eclipse themed specials all weekend! Today’s Eclipse Specials:
– Blackout Burger – Grilled black bean patty topped with caramelized onions, sweet bell peppers, pepperjack cheese, fried egg, avocado, and garlic aioli on toasted kaiser roll with hand cut fries.
– Half Moon Pie – Chicken and cheese empanada served over mashed black beans topped with guacamole, pickled onions, and cilantro sour cream.
– Solar Sandwich – Deep fried chicken breast, sliced deli ham, gruyere cheese, honey mustard dressing, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted croissant roll served with hand cut fries.

The Eclipse: As totality approaches, we’ll be briefly suspending food and drink service immediately before and after the Eclipse so our staff and our guests can step outside to enjoy the show! Be sure to have your Eclipse Viewing Glasses with you!

Pineapple Burner is our flagship Hayburner American IPA with a fresh tropical pineapple burst in the aroma and finish. Made with REAL pineapple, this beer is as flavorful as it is refreshing.

If you’re like us, and this weather has you dreaming about hitting the road for long weekends and scenic views this summer, we’ve got the perfect beer for you.

“Miles on the 90” is inspired by the inevitable part of any New York State road trip, when the music becomes background noise and the scenery fades away into a passing blur of endless fields and muted colors, and all we can think about is how good that first beer will taste when we finally get to where we’re going. This West Coast-style IPA, brewed with Mosaic and Talus hops, and brimming with grapefruit flavor and clean, refreshing bitterness, won’t let you down. 7.0% ABV.

Draft and cans will be available at our tap room beginning Friday, February 24 at 11AM.
