SPICED BROWN ALE
Fresh Baked is our winter ale brewed with chocolate malt, toasted English brown malt, and oats that have been oven toasted right at our brewery. The beer is then finished with subtle touches of cinnamon and vanilla, yielding a toasty, lightly sweet, lightly spiced brown ale reminiscent of fresh baked oatmeal cookies. Yum!

Meloneweizen is a traditional Bavarian-style hefeweizen brewed with wheat, oats, and spicy German yeast, with over 1300 pounds of fresh watermelon added. The delicate clove and banana flavors from the yeast are complimented with a spritz of fresh melon flavor resulting in an extremely refreshing beer.

JAlapeno cream ale
This beer was brewed to celebrate our 400th batch brewed. This is a crisp, well-balanced and refreshing cream ale, with slight sweetness from the flaked corn used in the mash and subtle heat and spicy tanginess in the finish from the use of jalapeno peppers in the fermenter. The beer kind of taste like nachos in a glass!

ELECTRIC DISTRICT PILS
The name "Electric District" is a nod to our neighborhood, where the Electric Tower serves as a beacon for locating our brewery. This pilsner features significant floral and spicy hop aroma and flavor but very mild bitterness with light bready malt undertones.

LOCK IPA SERIES #1
Packet is named after the boats that transported early passengers on the Erie Canal. The beer is made with Galaxy, Mosaic, and Pacific Jade hops, resulting in a juicy, sticky hop bomb with tempered bitterness and tropical and lightly floral hop flavors abound.

The final obstacle in constructing the Erie Canal was leveling a 7 mile section of the canal 40 feet deep - by hand - between Lockport and Lake Erie. Our Deep Cut Double IPA is our most ambitious beer to date. It's layered with citrus, tropical punch, and wild berry hop flavor, with moderate bitterness and a dry finish. This beer won a silver medal in the Strong IPA category at the TAP NY craft beer festival in 2016.

A popular origin of the city of Buffalo's name was a mispronunciation of a Frenchman's exclamation upon first sight of the Buffalo River. Beautiful River (or "Beau Fleuve") is a refreshing Belgian-style farmhouse ale featuring floral, pear, and pepper notes, which was brewed to commemorate the origins of our city.

This dark beer features a mild roast and prominent smoke character with a slightly earthy and hoppy finish. Smooth, warming and complex, Lock Porter is a true sipping beer.

Short Cut is a sessionable version of our Double IPA, Deep Cut. Featuring flavors such as candied oranges, tangerine, and stone fruit in a lighter, more drinkable beer.

BELGIAN - STYLE STRONG ALE
Inspired by the more secular Belgian breweries, this Belgian-inspired golden strong ale has a fantastic aroma of white grape, tangerine, clove and fresh-cracked peppercorn. Golden Shovel was the first Belgian-style beer brewed in our commercial brewery, commemorating the opening of our tap room.

GREAT BIG STEVE
Collaboration with Great Lakes Brewing Company. Grover Cleveland, former Buffalo mayor, and our 22nd (and 24th) President, was known as "Big Steve", and also known as the least-healthiest President, because of his penchant for beer drinking and cigar smoking! This is a clean, rich and malt-forward beer, similar to a doppelback, but brewed with ale yeast.

Barges on the old Erie Canal were often pulled by beasts of burden along a Towpath, which were roadways alongside the canal. Our Imperial Stout, brewed to commemorate our 200th batch is a beast of a beer itself, clocking in at 9.4% ABV, and featuring a full- bodied, rich and roasty flavor.

To celebrate our 100th batch brewed, we brewed our flagship IPA Hayburner with a barge full of Citra hops. Similar to Hayburner in light malt flavor and crisp body, this beer packs a mandarin orange punch with hints of tropical fruit.

This American Pale Ale is intended to be a juicy, refreshing, citrus bomb. The beer combines light caramel and honey malts, flaked wheat for a creamy mouthfeel, and substantial amounts of citrusy Amarillo and Zythos hops. The beer is then finished with zest from over 200 blood oranges to yield a fresh citrus aroma and flavor.

WEGMAN'S BERLINER WEISSE
A beer brewed specifically for the Wegman's Pub. Extremely light on the palate with a crisp, tart flavor. At 3% ABV, this German-style wheat beer is wonderfully refreshing. Served straight or with housemade raspberry, orange, or blackberry syrup for an additional $1.

belgian-style Blonde ale
This is a light, dry and refreshing Belgian-style Blonde Ale, delicately hopped, then fermented warm over local, fresh, New York State peaches. The spiciness from the yeast melds well with the sweetness imparted by the peaches. This year's batch will be made only once and used about 1,200 pounds of peaches hand pressed by our brewers.

Our strong Scotch ale, named after a small town in Scotland that's also the ancestral home of one of our brewers, is brewed with lightly fruity scotch ale yeast and rich, caramel, raisiney malt flavor. A hefty dose of orange peel is then added to lend a light citrus flavor to the beer.
