About the beer:
Erie Canal “long hauls” were multi-day boat trips traversing great distances across the state. In fall 2025, the BMC replica canal boat, the Seneca Chief, will embark on its own commemorative long haul down the canal, and this beer will be along for the ride and available at stops along the way. Long Haul is a lager brewed with 6-row barley, New York State hops, clover honey, and spruce tips, ingredients that were often used for brewing beer in the 19th century.
